CANBERRA GLASSWORKS
During this project I was collaborating in a group environment to produce experiential graphic design assets for the Canberra Glassworks, Kingston ACT. Our project was specifically design towards a self-guided tour of the gallery and shop space that honoured and empowered local glass artists and their work.

Placemaking
I designed a large scale mural that wrapped around the curvature of the shop space wall. This mural displayed an intricate pattern and signage directing traffic to the reception, shop & gallery.

Wayfinding Brochure
Upon entry to the self-guided tour, visitors would grab a brochure to assist with the wayfinding of the tour. I designed this brochure to include the orange rour theme colour, a map of the tour, contact information, small paragraphs of information on the tour, gallery, glassmaking classes, the immersive bottle space, and the current artist of the month. The brochure also displayed a QR code leading to the glassmaking classes booking page, where inspiring artists begin their journey in the local glass art industry.

Graphics & Engagement
Various graphic elements were developed to engage the audience in this tour. This includes glass vase shapes, organic blob-like shapes representing glass in its molten state, black & white imagery, cylinder shapes, directional arrows, and a character named 'Picglasso' to guide and entertain children through the tour.

Navigation
Many signage formats including floor decals, a mural, round signs, a-frame signs, a brochure, and an app, were developed to help the visitors navigate the tour independently.
